“When I founded MBM, with other partners, it was clear that our initiative would have been successful if only we would have been able to combine technological innovation with the solution of the management needs of companies.
And I still believe that only the mastery of tools and architecture development, together with the knowledge of business processes, can help projects to fully and successfully satisfy the need of computerization.
Keeping this setting for more than thirty years, has not been easy, partly because the development of basic technologies has been frenetic, and because companies' organizational models are continually changing to adapt to market needs.
Today, I reflect and am satisfied, that MBM has been and is known for being a dynamic company, by continually renewing our products in a way that the solutions we offer are always updated.
In the beginning, MBM developed applications in Mainframe IBM environment (it was the origin of the founding members), where a good part of our architectural know-how comes from. Later on, we moved into other platforms, at first IBM AS/400, and then Unix and Windows. For several years, J2EE (Java Two Enterprise Edition), has become the referenced platform, that has allowed us to extend our experience in sectors where connectivity is a prerequsite, especially referring to the "mobile" environment.
At the same time, the needs of our customers have led us to develop new applications, for both responding to new market situations, and solving yet unsolved problems because of lack of technological support. I can pruodly say that MBM is currently the only software house to propose a planning system based on 64bit addressing, which means that you can plan for million of events in a matter of seconds!
This is to let you know that MBM is a stucture created "far" in time, but that has always been up to date to ensure the best solutions with the best technology. Our experience, derived from hundreds of successfully completed systems, is the most important asset we have established over decades and that we give to our Customers".
